The Mission

CT Summer Assault is the brainchild of Metal Blast Entertainment, with promotional support provided by Coalition 7 studios, in an attempt to create a unique moment of assembly in the New England heavy metal community. The event organizers are band members, musicians, artists and writers just like you. We have a strong commitment to the local metal community and are excited to be organizing at long last.

The roster for the event has been assembled from some of the most notorious metal bands from the CT area and beyond, bringing their audiences together in a night of celebration

Together with the might of the local community, we shall come to conquer!

The Stage

The Epicenter

CT Summer Assault 09 will be held at Pleasures in New Britain, CT. The venue is a large concert hall/club that was once known locally as the Arkadia theater.

Through a unique cooperative union with the new management of the venue, we've been given the chance to bring live metal music back to the stage at Pleasures. And what an opportunity it is! The venue features a fully stocked bar and a massive stage complete with a catwalk!
